Background:  Studying on the origins of all life, Liara learned of it from a race calling themselves the Engineers.   She is an Asari researcher who has spent the past fifty years of her life studying Prothean technology and culture, specializing in the Prothean extinction.  She had also specialized in the race known as the Engineers, and had located a known location, Aegis 7.  Unfortunately, she had become stranded onboard the ship of the Engineers, and had slept in a stasis cocoon in where Isaac and the first survey team.  She is taken aboard, where she is awakened and put under suspicious, though her knowledge of the Engineers helps Isaac and the others to act fast.  Afterwards, she has joined the crew as the archeologist as well as an on-hand medic.  

She was born on Thessia in 2077, making her "only" 106—little more than a child in asari terms. She already has a great deal of insight into the Protheans and is a highly trained user of Biotics.  She also develops a certain relationship with Vega…

Personality:  as an archeologist, she's quite fascinated among new species, especially humans, since Isaac, Miranda, and the others are the first humans she has ever met and observed.
